
Nomada (at left) are kleptoparasitic bees that typically parasitize Andrena nests. We have identified eight different Nomada species and 15 different Andrena species on our campus to date.
Our Friends' Central and other Eastern bees are divided among five families. To date, we have recorded 70 different bee species on our campus, 63 native bees and 7 introduced.
Some are common and some rarer represented by just one or two observations.
